Happy Fall!
It's finally cooling off here in Southern CA! I know those
of you that are deep into the cold weather by now are not crying for
us. But I have to say, for me personally, I have been impatiently
waiting to wear my new boots, a sweater, have some hot cocoa, or just
feel a cool breeze! I know some of you leave your sandals behind
kicking and screaming but today my feet finally needed to take
cover and it's buh-bye sandals!

We love Faux! I recently watched a women actually sniff a
faux leather bag because it looked so good she couldn't tell if it was real or
not. The funny part was that after she sniffed it she decided it was
real! I guess they smell as good as they look! The great thing about
'Faux' is that you can take a high boot and scrunch it down without cracking the
'leather' and make it a short boot, two for the price of
one. And there's the price. And of course no animals where
harmed in the making of the boots.

Never before have so many high profile and high
priced designers, not to mention celebs, added their names to lower priced
lines. Great news for us, the bargain concious shopper. AKA, recetionista,
bargainista, frugalista... Oh heck, can't we just say cheap! We want it
CHEAP, the DEAL, the STEAL, the FIND! We saw some great looks in the
magazines and just had to see for ourselves. This required many, many field

admit Kmart was not really on the list. So when I took my field trip to Kmart

Was Gray actually a color before
this fall? We debated as to how to spell Gray, or Grey. It's in the
dictionary both ways. Apparently someone couldn't make up their mind. Anyway,
things had gray in them or an accessory was gray or something black faded to gray
but did we just go out and buy gray? Turns out it's actually a color. Who
knew? And it seems to look good on everyone. We saw this gray dress for $150
